Our so soft yak and sartuul yarn is a blended 3plyed yarn, sustainably sourced from Mongolia and handspun and hand-dyed in Nepal.

Our So soft Yak and Sartuul yarn is a 3-ply fingering yarn, with a 2ply Sartuul and 1 ply Yak mix.
It comes either in natural colour or is hand-dyed using ZDHC certificated colours.
The weight of this yarn is 50 grams = 140 – 160 m

So soft yak and sartuul yarn is a blended 3plyed yarn, sustainably sourced from Mongolia.
This yarn of Mongolian animal fibers gives a unique heather mix and soft hand feels.
Mongolian herders sheer the sheep and comb their yak and select the best quality of fiber.
Once the fiber is processed, it is handspun and hand-dyed in Nepal. This yarn comes in a natural shade or overdyed shades, using ZDHC dyeing colors.
