Dry Desert Camel

Our Dry Desert Camel yarn is sourced from the Gobi desert in Mongolia. First the Nomads select the finest fibers which are then washed and carded. Next our yarns is handspun by our qualified all-female team of spinners in Mongolia and Nepal. Our yarns are then hand dyed by expert dyers, using ZDHC dyeing colors. We do our best to be as precise as possible but sometimes there can be a slight difference between color lots, therefore we advise you to buy enough yarn for your project. 

High Mountain Yak

Our High Mountain Yak yarn, sustainably sourced from Mongolia at 1500m which makes for very warm and awesomely soft yarn. After the Mongolian herders select  is handspun by women in Nepal and Mongolia. Nomads in Mongolia herders are selecting for us the warmest and softest quality of fibres which after washing and carding are handspun by qualified women. Our yarns are handspun by qualified spinners and hand dyed by qulified dyers, using ZDHC dyeing colors.We do our best to be as precise as possible but sometimes there can be a slight difference between lots, therefore we advise you to buy enough yarn for your project.

Smooth Sartuul Wool

Our Smooth Sartuul sheep Wool, coming from a sheep with an extremely soft undercoat and a cashmere touch and living in the province of Zavhkan. This sheep is herded since ages in Mongolia together in herds with other animals. Nomads did select the finest fibers which are washed and carded before being handspun by women in Mongolia and Nepal. Our yarns are handspun by qualified spinners and hand dyed by qualified dyers, using ZDHC dyeing colors. We do our best to be as precise as possible but sometimes there can be a slight difference between lots, therefore we advise you to buy enough yarn for your project.

So soft Yak and Sartuul

Sartuul sheep is a special Mongolian sheep breed which provides very soft and fine fibers, similar to cashmere. In this version, we mix sartuul sheep with Yak fiber. After combing the fibers are washed and carded in Mongolia, and send for hand spinning by women in Mongolia and Nepal. Our yarns are handspun by qualified women. We do our best to be as precise as possible but there can be a slight difference in length and weight per skein.
