Salki is a relaxed open-front cardigan in Fisherman’s Rib designed by Justyna Lorkowska and included in the book Nomadknits, which you can purchase here and published by Amirisu

The cardigan is worked flat in rows seamlessly from the top down in an all-over Fisherman’s Rib pattern. The shoulders are shaped using a contiguous set-in method, increasing front and back stitches on either side of a single shoulder stitch.

The sample is shown So soft Yak and Sartuul in color Closer than you might sheep.

Depending on the size 1 (2, 3, 4, 5) (6, 7, 8, 9)

the cardigan uses 7 (8, 9, 10, 11) (13, 14, 16, 17) skeins of Nomadnoos.

Choose the colour you like most and enjoy the knitting!

This beautiful cardigan, made in our So soft Yak and Sartuul yarn comes from the Yaks living in the Arkhangai province and our sartuul wool from Zavhkan in Mongolia. Nomads selected the most delicate fibres, washing and carding them before hand-spun by women in Nepal.

When you receive your yarn, look at the square label to see who spun it!
