Our Small Triangle cotton knitting bag is perfect for storing your preferred knitting accessories and yarn. The Japanese Bento bag inspired us for our product, ideal for keeping your latest knitting project. You can use it inside your Big Nomadnoos bag to separate your ongoing knitting and skeins from each other.
This heavy cotton fabric is handwoven by artisan weavers from Bhaktapur. The bag is sewn, hand-dyed, and hand-printed by artisans in a workshop in Patan, Katmandu.
Until a few decades ago, across Nepal, you could hear the sound of weaving in most Newari homes. The women spun and incorporated in their leisure hours. It was customary for a weaver’s community to present a spinning wheel to the daughter as a wedding gift, thereby propagating and preserving the traditional skill. This practice has now become outdated.
At Nomadnoos, we continue to train women to spin our yarns not only for knitting but also for weaving fabrics.
