Temee is a beautiful sweater designed by Sarah Solomon and included in the book Nomadknits, you can purchase here, published by Amirisu.
This pattern is an all-over cable sweater with wide ribbing. The sample is shown in Dry Desert Camel Fingering (4ply).
The sweater is knitted bottom up and seamed. The silhouette is a modified drop shoulder construction with a slight indentation at the body underarm and a wide, shallow sleeve cap. After assembly, stitches are picked up at the neckline and worked in the round for the collar.
Depending on the size 1 (2, 3, 4) (5, 6, 7) the sweater uses 9 (9, 10, 11) (13, 14, 15) skeins of Nomadnoos.
Choose the colour you like most and enjoy the knitting!
Description
This beautiful cable sweater, made in our Dry Desert Camel yarn, comes from the Bactrian Camel living in the Gobi desert in Mongolia. Nomads selected the most delicate fibres, washing and carding them before hand-spun by women in Mongolia and Nepal.
When you receive your yarn, look at the square label to see who spun it!
