This Nepal knitting retreat offers a rare opportunity to slow down, knit, and reconnect with the origins of textile craftsmanship — right at the source.

Rather than a touristic knitting holiday, this retreat focuses on immersion. You will meet spinners, dyers, artisans, and designers, and you will explore how fibre becomes yarn through living, hands-on traditions. At the same time, you will share this experience with a small group of like-minded makers who value depth over speed.

You will stay in a beautifully restored heritage hotel in Patan. During the week, you will knit in inspiring surroundings, visit workshops, and experience Nepal beyond postcards — thoughtfully, respectfully, and with care.

In addition, Japanese knitwear designer Eri Shimizu will join the retreat. She will guide an afternoon knitting session and release an exclusive pattern designed with Nomadnoos yarn during the week.
