The Alpinus shawl has  a floral lace design made by Kitman Figueroa. A shawl worked from the bottom up, lace knitting in our soft, Dry desert Camel, fingering  (4ply) weight. Thanks to the Dry Desert Camel yarn, this shawl has a beautiful texture and is very feminine.

The shawl uses five skeins of our luxury Dry Desert Camel yarn in fingering weight.

Description

The kit contains the wool in our Dry Desert Camel yarn. Our beautiful yarns come from the soft undercoat of the  Mongolian Bactrian Camel, which is hand-combed by Mongolian nomadic herders.
This beautiful shawl is included in  the book Nomadknits, published by Amirisu as an ode to nomads and spinners. You can purchase the book here.
