Nomadnoos Nepal Retreat 2026<\/a>. There, a small group of knitters cast it on together at the source. They followed the same journey that shapes every Nomadnoos skein: from Mongolian herder to Nepali hand-spinner. Now, for the first time, Winter Garden opens beyond the retreat. So it’s available to everyone as a pre-order.<\/p>\nThe Design<\/h3>\n
A delicate colourwork motif runs across the yoke: small flowers and stems, knit in two colours. That way, the garden keeps blooming straight through winter. Winter Garden is a relaxed-fit cardigan with dolman sleeves. This gives it a soft, easy shoulder line. You can even wear it upside down. That way, you can shift the silhouette and the colourwork placement to suit your mood.<\/p>\n
The Yarn<\/h3>\n
We knit the Winter Garden cardigan in the newly developed Nomadnoos High Mountain Yak Sport yarn (100% yak, 115\u2013135m \/ 125\u2013147 yards per 50g). The fibre is sourced from herder communities in Mongolia. Women in Nepal then hand-spin\u00a0 it. The sample combines two colourways: Eri’s Choice<\/strong> (beige) for the body, and The Yak Comes Home<\/strong> (dark brown) for the colourwork.<\/p>\nSizing & Fit<\/h3>\n
The design comes in 9 sizes (1 to 9). Finished bust measurements (back x2) range from 91.5 cm \/ 36″ to 171.5 cm \/ 67\u00bd”. We recommend 10\u201314.5 cm \/ 4\u20135\u00be” of positive ease. The sample here is a size 1 with 15.5 cm \/ 6\u00bc” of positive ease, for a relaxed, easy fit.<\/p>\n
