Smooth Sartuul yarn<\/strong> Aran comes from Sartuul sheep<\/a> raised in the remote Zavkhan province of Mongolia. These animals develop a remarkably soft undercoat due to the harsh continental climate they live in. The result is a fiber with a natural cashmere-like touch, yet with more structure and resilience.<\/p>\n

For generations, Mongolian nomads have carefully selected the finest fibers from their herds. This traditional expertise ensures that only the softest undercoat is chosen. The fiber is then washed and carded before being sent to Nepal, where skilled women spin each skein by hand.<\/p>\n

Every skein is hand-dyed by experienced artisans using ZDHC-compliant dyes. This careful process respects both craftsmanship and environmental responsibility. Because the yarn is entirely handspun and hand-dyed, slight variations may occur. These are not defects, but a reflection of true artisanal production.<\/p>\n
