Sartuul sheep<\/a> Yarn Bulky comes from Sartuul sheep raised in the remote Zavkhan province of Mongolia. These sheep develop an exceptionally soft and dense undercoat as protection against extreme temperature shifts. This natural adaptation creates a fiber with a gentle, almost cashmere-like softness, yet with remarkable strength and resilience.<\/p>\n

For generations, Mongolian nomads have selected the finest fibers from their mixed herds. This knowledge is not industrial \u2014 it is lived experience. Only the softest undercoat is chosen before the fiber is washed and carded.<\/p>\n

The yarn is then handspun by skilled women in Nepal. Each skein is created individually, which gives the yarn depth and subtle irregularity. It is later hand-dyed by experienced artisans using ZDHC-compliant dyes, ensuring a responsible dyeing process.<\/p>\n
