Lagun \u2013 A Kerchief for You and a Friend<\/strong><\/p>\n

Lagun<\/em> means \u00ab\u00a0friend\u00a0\u00bb in bask language\u2014and that\u2019s exactly the spirit behind this charming design by Erika from Loareknits<\/a>. When she first envisioned this kerchief, she imagined making two from one luxurious skein of Nomadnoos High Mountain Yak: one for herself, and one for a dear friend.<\/p>\n

She started with a simple version to test the yardage, then added a playful twist with slip stitches and bobbles. But she didn\u2019t stop there\u2014the pattern also includes instructions to turn your kerchief into a larger shawlette or even a full shawl, so you can use every bit of yarn, whether it\u2019s leftover or fresh off the skein.<\/p>\n

A perfect accessory for layering in early spring or cool evenings\u2014versatile, thoughtful, and fun to knit.<\/p>\n
